The impact young voters have had in recent elections, both locally and nationally, has been well-documented and discussed. But, for those of us who are making our voices heard, are we really informed voters? Do we understand the issues and the candidates who will potentially represent us, if elected? It's so very important that we are intentional about understanding as much as we can, especially with runoffs in state elections upon us - looking at you Louisiana - as well as a 2020 presidential election that is quickly approaching. That's why we have Louisiana State Representative Edward "Ted" James in the guest chair today to help break things down for us. The millennial vote matters and we are discussing why.
